Nazareth College Summer Science Camp

The Summer Science Camp has been located at Nazareth College since 2006. Today, the camp is operated by Nazareth College. The summer camps are full for the 2017 season.

The Magic of Harry Potter
The “School of Wizardry” is in session and invites all young wizards to a magical adventure. The faculty of Hogwarts will be instructing you on potions (inks, slime, and paints), building and launching of rockets, and many more fun activities—indoors and out. All materials and equipment (wands, cauldrons, and ingredients for your favorite wizard brew) are provided. Parents are reminded that young wizards should not bring their
own wands or brooms to this camp!

Superhero Science
Have you ever wanted to be a superhero? How about take down nasty villains with your superpowers? Well, then this is the camp for you! We are going to use the good of science to help us defeat the evil villains. We will use Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to study super strength, super speed, and many more super powers. A villain may conjure a storm or freeze you in a block of ice! We will use science to stop them! When it comes to superheroes and superpowers anything can happen! Are you ready to find out what will?

Mystery at Hogwarts
There has been a disappearance at Hogwarts and the young witches and wizards have to solve the mystery. Using science and good observations, the students must determine who was the guilty party! They may even meet a real forensic specialist during the week! This camp is for students who love investigations and the stories of Harry Potter.
