Steve Fisher is a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania native who attended the University of Richmond and graduated in 1987 with a BS in Business Administration. After graduation, Steve began working with Virginia Asset Management and is currently one of our full-time advisors.

Steve specializes in Insurance Tax Strategies*, Estate and Needs Analysis, Business Life Insurance, Pension/Profit Plans, Investment Advice and Strategies, 401(k)s, IRAs, Individual Disability Income Plans, and Salary Continuation Plans. He is a registered representative and investment advisor representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc. In addition to his licenses, he has obtained the additional designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU),Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and most recently, he achieved his Certified Financial Planner��designation. Professionally, Steve is a member of the Richmond Association of Financial Advisors as well as the National Association of Financial Advisors. He is also a qualified life member of MDRT.

Personally, Steve and his wife, Lisa, were married on December 29th, 2001. They have two children, Will born in October of 2003 and Adam born in October of 2005. He is a member of Hermitage Country Club and Reveille United Methodist Church. If you don’t find him at either of these places, he has been seen “attempting” to play golf, coaching his boys on the soccer field, and watching Richmond Spider sports.
