Steve Kittey is a native of the Ligonier Valley and has resided in Latrobe and Derry Township for the past 55 years. Formerly an award-winning writer and sports editor of the Latrobe Bulletin, former St. Vincent College Sports Information Director as well as a former owner of two successful businesses (Latrobe Newsstand and Sports Inc. and D&Z Printing) in downtown Latrobe, Steve, a member of West Penn Multi-list, has enjoyed a 21-year career in real estate where he has been a multi-million sales associate, working with both buyers and sellers for private residences and commercial properties. He began his real estate career with Century21 and later was at ReMax Select in Greensburg before joining Scalise Real Estate.

Numerous referrals from former clients are the secret to Steve’s success, which has included real estate transactions in Westmoreland, Indiana, Fayette and Allegheny counties. Steve’s extensive background in communications as well as his over 25 years as a youth sports coach (Latrobe-Derry Area Teener League and Latrobe Little League baseball; Greater Latrobe Junior Pro Basketball; Derry Rec Soccer; Derry Rec Basketball; Greensburg YMCA Youth Basketball; Ligonier Valley YMCA T-Ball; Loyalhanna United Soccer) provides him with a unique perspective of the community as well as the local real estate market.

Steve and his wife Becky live in Derry Township. Their son Drew and his wife Susan reside in Houston, Texas. Steve enjoys classic cars, gardening and yard work, golfing, attending sporting events and spending time with friends and family.
