Stevenson started it's club sports program in 2012. In the fall of 2013 the Men's Club Lacrosse program was founded. The team competes in the NCLL (ncllax.com) which currently is comprised of two divisions with 142 current teams. Teams are divided into conferences within their division and the top four teams from each conference compete in a conference championship. Conference champions then compete in a national championship where a Division 1 and Division 2 champion is crowned.
Stevenson currently competes in the Chesapeake Conference in Division II with Johns Hopkins, George Mason, UMBC, Catholic University, Howard University, Morgan State, St. Mary's University and Washington College.
The team is coached by Mike Urgo who played for Old Mill High School and in the NCLL at Mount St. Mary's University. After a brief stint coaching the Mount St. Mary's Club program, Mike joined Stevenson in 2013 for it's inaugural season.
