Stockyards Gunfighter

Our main goal in establishing Stockyards Gunfighter is to provide a realistic, safe, fun experience to tourists while also providing advanced training options for the experienced shooter to advance skills and capabilities. We will have shooting scenarios fully appropriate for ages 8 to 80 in the public firing range while offering more complete, compelling training and scenarios in the private shooting bays. Every concealed carry weapon (CCW) license holder can benefit by gaining immersive experience and practical education aimed at keeping them safe at all times.

The advances in technology makes it logical to consider a gun range that involves no live firearms, no toxins, and no life-threatening risks as a great venue for people to experience all levels of firearms use without the risks. This idea is not unique to the military and law enforcement that have added virtual gun training to their mix for preparing people for the most stressful situations imaginable – you can literally experience a shoot out in Baghdad without ever leaving the lab if you have the proper software.

Thousands of people shoot guns for sport and competitive shooting continues to make ground as a popular competitive sport. Similarly, many couples are now going to the gun range for a date night or even for family entertainment. Many people have never had the opportunity to even try a shooting experience and the freedom to shoot is a unique American experience.

It should also be underscored that while we have a variety of weapons planned, including weapons that fully operate on air recoil, no weapons in use will be capable of accepting live ammunition without alteration. This is key since many of the weapons are actual firearms that have been modified for use on the virtual range.
