Rose Vasquez spent 25 years working for a variety of nonprofits and government entities as well as reviewing and recommending approval for funding for grants on the local, state, and federal levels, giving her a unique understanding of what these organizations need. Along with an impeccable attention to detail, she is dedicated to producing great results, and creating a strong competitive grant application for every client. Rose has also been instrumental in developing policies to improve community health and create healthier places to live. Rose worked as a grant writer, director, program manager, researcher, and evaluator for a number of organizations before deciding to go into business for herself. She is now the sole owner, operator, and business consultant of Strategic Writing & Consulting, successfully raising around $4.1 million in grants in the last five years. A member of the American Grant Writer's Association, she sits on the board of several Federal Grant Review Committees, which gives her an insight into what the government is looking for in an application and what they are willing to fund.
