Studio Arts for Dancers of Knoxville, TN was founded in 1991 by its artistic director, Lisa Hall McKee. The purpose of Studio Arts has been to promote the art of dance by providing quality training, creative performance opportunities and artistic enrichment for young dancers, offering a wide variety of dance classes. Studio Arts is known for its devotion to nurturing confidence while developing technical excellence in its young dancers. While Studio Arts primarily works with dancers in Knoxville, Maryville, Farragut and Oak Ridge, we also have a number of adults and children from other surrounding areas, as well, and welcome anyone to our dance studio!
Studio Arts for Dancer’s ballet and modern training program consists of the grade level Pre-Primary (age 3,4,5), Primary (age 6,7), Levels I,II,III,IV,V,VI, Intermediate and Advance. Jazz classes are offered to dancers age 12 and above. All higher levels are given a skill and vocabulary test to further enhance their understanding of the classwork.
