Our Mission

We offer a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment for Twin Cities women and couples facing an unexpected pregnancy. Our clients experience friendship, hope and encouragement through positive and life-affirming personal support services, education and resources.

Our Five Year Vision

Over the next five years we seek to become the most trusted and referred provider of high-quality, life-affirming support services for Twin Cities women and couples seeking assistance when facing an unexpected pregnancy. We will achieve this vision by implementing a three-phased approach over the next five years to reach our clients and deliver services with high impact and efficient deployment of resources.

Our History

Abria Pregnancy Resources is the new name of two merged organizations: University LifeCare Center and Highland LifeCare Center. In 2012, the Board of Directors for the Highland and University LifeCare Centers merged. The combined board now governs both entities. In 2015, the merged organization is consolidating the operations of both locations and relocating in the heart of the urban core of the Twin Cities, just a few miles from their respective locations in Minneapolis and St. Paul, and easily accessible from the freeway and public transit. The new location is at University Crossing at Vandalia, 2200 University Avenue West, St. Paul, 55114.

University LifeCare Center was established in 1975 near the University of Minnesota Campus in Minneapolis.

Highland LifeCare Center was established in 2001 in the Highland area of St. Paul.

Highland and University LifeCare Centers have helped over 15,000 women, men, and babies from a wide range of ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

All of our services continue to be offered free of charge.

We do not provide or refer for abortions or artificial birth control.
