Sweet Peas Cooking School

Sweet Peas Cooking School is led by Miss Kristin who has worked in a preschool classroom for over 14 years. Miss Kristin has taught a cooking class for children between the ages of 3-12 year old and also has attended baking classes in the past. She has her state clearances/fingerprints and is CPR/First Aid certified.
Sweet Peas incorporate creative expression building on young children’s cognitive learning as well as teaches math and science while improving their small motor skills. When children are able to participate and create something delicious to eat, it gives them a sense of pride and ownership. Sweet Peas uses a hands-on approach that encourages those “choosey” eaters to branch out and become a little more adventurous and willing to try new foods that they have participated in creating.
An apron and cooking utensils will be provided for every lesson and your child will come home with the recipe and a sample of their food creation after each lesson.
Located in the kitchen of Clarks Green Methodist Church. Sessions are an hour long every Saturday at 10:00 am OR at 12:00pm.
