Temple Community Clinic was established in 1992 by two local Physicians, Dr. Jeff Jackson and Dr. Gopal Guttikonda through a Leadership Temple Project. During their career they saw many working people who were without proper healthcare due to eligibility or it was simply cost prohibitive. Temple Community Clinic (TCC) was established in 1992 by two local Physicians, Dr. Jeff Jackson and Dr. Gopal Guttikonda through a Leadership Temple Project.
TCC is more than a clinic; it is a health resource for the underserved population of the community. The founders and board envisioned TCC, as a place where those with low or fixed income could receive health care and related information to help create healthier lives.
Through 25 years of ongoing commitment by volunteers and generosity of donors, the Clinic continues to help cover a significant gap in healthcare for our community. By reaching out to this segment of the population and focusing on prevention, TCC saves the community substantial dollars in avoiding emergency room visits.
