The Academy Vicksburg

Welcome to the Academy at King Solomon! We are Vicksburg’s First Church Bible Study created for your child’s success in the Public School System! The Academy features the type of Biblical and moral instruction foundational to raising a child of faith in the public school system.

Classes at the Academy are taught by Christians who also serve as public school teachers. The curriculum at the Academy is designed to develop and promote Christian values that are transferable to the public school setting. Each lesson is reinforced by drama, music, arts and crafts.

The Academy has also been designed to serve as a forum between the home, the school, and the Church to further strengthen our communities. Community leaders in politics, education, and law enforcement will participate in monthly parent/child forums that will further promote the practice of Christian values.

Classes at the Academy are held on a semester basis. Registration for our first semester is underway. Seating is limited and will be awarded on a first come – first serve basis. Fees for each semester are $25 per child. The Academy is hosting an open house and reception on Wednesday, July 19th at 6:30 pm.
