The Axis Coffee Shop and Gathering Place

The Axis began as a way for MGM to make room for their growing children’s ministry. It soon evolved into much more. The Axis you see today is a community center, youth ministry building, and a place to hang out over a cup of coffee and enjoy the company of the greatest people in the world…..Clay Countians. Work began in Jan. 2014 with the help of just a handful of volunteers. Progress was slow and eventually came to an almost complete stop. After praying, “God if you want this building done you’ll have to send someone to help us” God answered that prayer as only He can. The next week with the coordination of Big Creek Missions over 50 people from all across America came. For three weeks volunteers from nine states volunteered their time and resources to complete the remodel. With faith, and the help from over 100 volunteers, what you see today is a very unique facility with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The Axis is a for profit business with a very different business model. All the proceeds go back into the ministry. Proceeds from the Axis go to support local ministry to make a difference in our county and most importantly the children. We hope you enjoy our facility and our coffee because GOD had you in mind when we did it.
