More about The Chesterfield

The Chesterfield is the result of several years of planning by two music lovers, Rick Swanson and Brent Stockton. They ran the bar for several years until Swanson took over and ran the Chesterfield himself until the fall of 2010 when he sold it to longtime pal and music promoter Mick Gamet.

The Chesterfield brings live music fans a concert-hall quality show in a club setting. There are no shortcuts in the house PA and lighting gear. The equipment is top-end, from the powerful front house speakers to the state-of-the-art effects rack. The large elevated stage gives patrons a great view of the bands. The club will accommodate up to 300 fans from the pub area to the music room.

The club features an exciting mix of music from rock and blues to alternative and hip-hop. With shows Thursday through Saturday nights, fans have the opportunity to catch many regional and local acts as well as national acts.

One of the hottest nights in the club is the World Famous Wednesday Night Jam when area musicians gather to show their licks. Thursday night is home to some of the funniest comedians in Siouxland as it is comedy night.

The Chesterfield also has some very interesting decor that mixes a look into the past of Sioux City with the history of music in general. All the sights and sounds of the Chesterfield are fast making it one of the rising stars in live music clubs in the Midwest. Also a 2014 Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee.
