The time has come for a digital publication for today’s busy exhibitors, judges and professionals on the run and on the road. This allows them as well as Dog Show World lovers to have access at their convenience, anytime, anywhere and everywhere. We decided to leverage 30+ years background in Marketing and launch the all-digital “THE DOG SHOW JOURNAL” a division of All About Show Dogs.
We realized that in the world of Show Dogs there is a need for a alternative publication that utilizes today’s technology to highlight the sport, the dogs and the events. All while allowing owners, handlers and owner-handlers to use multi-media such as high quality photography, animated slide shows, audio & video and to do so while leveraging the power of social media to showcase champion dogs, kennels and the traditions of the sport.
Why digital? Simple! We are in the digital age, and leveraging technology is not only convenient but also environmentally friendly / “green”. By our rough count alone, there are over 150 Million magazine pages printed for our the dog show world alone every year, which equals over 25,000 trees (each 40+ foot in height and at least 25 years-old) just in paper pulp alone! Not to mention the disposal and land fill impact.
