The Espinoza Music Academy

I am excited to announce that I am the new proud business owner of 104 N. Johnson Street in Downtown Mineola Texas! I have turned this building into a Music Lessons Shop called "The Rafael Espinoza Music Academy"! The shop is in full swing so enroll now as spaces fill up quick! I couldn't have asked for a better location with it being right in between The Mineola Area Chamber of Commerce and The Historic Select Theater!

Music Lessons will be for Guitar, Drums, Bass Guitar, Piano, and more. I can teach all styles. I have an Associate's Degree in Classical Guitar Performance with a minor in piano from Tyler Junior College, and a Bachelor's Degree in Professional Music from the Top Contemporary Music School in the world: Berklee College of Music. I have also done some teaching at Berklee and have taken several classes in the art of pedagogy.

My gifted wife Emmylou Espinoza is also teaching here! She teaches guitar and bass. She has toured the United States and overseas for over 15 years as a member of a Christian music band called The Hubbard Family. Emmylou has won awards in songwriting and performing and has an Associate's Degree in Classical Guitar Performance from Tyler Junior College and a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from The University of Texas at Tyler. In 2009 she participated in The Chamber Music Festival in Madrid, Spain with the Tyler Junior College Classical Guitar Ensemble. In 2013, she served as the PRE K - 7th grade music instructor at a Christian private school. She has been teaching private music lessons since 2008.
