The Good Samaritan Thrift Store

The Good Samaritan Thrift Store (GSTS) is a nonprofit organization that is a ministry of Lake Cumberland Rescue Mission (LCRM). LCRM is a faith based nonprofit organization that helps men overcome their addiction to drugs, alcohol, homelessness and other similar situations. GSTS was established in April of 2010 and ran by local christian volunteers. The thrift store is operational by donations made by the community and local churches. We have gently used clothing, shoes, household items, appliances, and other items too numerous to mention. ALL proceeds go directly to LCRM and GSTS. There are many ways the community can help in our efforts; first and foremost we need your prayers that these ministries will follow the Holy Spirit and see souls saved, families put back together and lives transformed. Second, please consider volunteering, we are always in need of volunteer workers at the thrift store. Finally, donations, as I stated earlier, the GSTS is operational through donations only. Please consider donating gently used clothing, shoes, appliances, house hold items, any yard sale items, and furniture. GSTS and LCRM are recognized by the Internal Revenue Service a tax exempt organization and all donations are tax exempt. !00% of all donations received are used directly in the operation of LCRM and GSTS.
