The Grandstander, the globally influenced gastropub, announces their grand opening in Geneva on September 2016. This is the much anticipated new restaurant from the critically acclaimed chef David Reyes of The Finery & Blacksmith Bar in St. Charles.

“When coming up with the concept for The Grandstander, we wanted to play off the word ‘grandstand’ a place to watch a sporting event married with a ‘grandstander’, a person who wants to impress,” explained Owner David Reyes. “We wanted to create an upscale sports bar that will impress guests with the quality of the food, while still cultivating a come-as-you-are atmosphere.

The Grandstander is where sports, sustainability, and socializing meet -- the beer-centric restaurant will feature 18 beers on tap, 10 cocktails, high-end bar food prepared with organic and hormone free meats including specialty high-end handmade sausages with stadium views of the televisions to watch the game.
