The Hope Center

The Hope Center is a faith-based, non-profit, charitable organization (501c3). We desire to assist low-income individuals and families who live in this community to help them move toward wholeness – physically, emotionally and spiritually. We distribute food, clothing and household goods daily (M-F). We pray for God’s blessings on everyone who is seeking assistance and encouragement, as well as a church home where they can learn to walk with God. On our page we would like to be able to share our organizations needs, upcoming events, prayers, neighborhood concerns, praises, answered prayers, good news, pictures and community needs. Only through daily communication of our physical, spiritual and emotional needs are we able to encourage and look to God as we pray for guidance and seek the answers from our local churches, leaders and each other. Through communicating with each other and letting our needs be known, we will be able to pool our resources and begin to unite as a true community, as the scripture says: {Carry each other’s heavy loads. If you do, you will give the law of Christ its full meaning. Gal.6:2}. Please join us as we strive to better our community and strengthen the families and individuals in Bakersfield. As we achieve our goal we feel our children will benefit, and the next generation will be better prepared for the future.
