The Joshua House

Joshua House is a transitional home located in Selma, Alabama for individuals who have completed at least 90 days of inpatient treatment and are seeking to re-enter the workforce and society.

We provide a furnished bedroom, kitchen, bathrooms, dining room and a community living room.

Joshua House offers varying services in partnership with The Dallas County Family Resource Center to help each individual develop their life skills, occupational opportunities and character as they may relate to success in society.
Some of our services include:
1) Mandatory individual and group counseling focusing on topics such as anger management, family systems and substance abuse
2) Providing a structured and accountable living environment
3) Job preparation
4) Encouraging spiritual growth through education and mentoring
