The Love of Ganesha

It is exceedingly difficult to describe The Love of Ganesha. More so given the categories and character limits that Facebook asks us to stick to, but here goes an attempt:

In San Francisco, gentrification is real, really real talk. It's all too easy to distance ourselves and intellectualize the issue, but The Love of Ganesha is at risk of eviction.

Noot, an extraordinary, possibly extraterrestrial woman has run it for decades. Noot is getting priced out by her landlord, who is asking her to pay more than double her current rent. We don't seek to demonize gentrification here - it is what it is, a complex issue. But there is something about The Love of Ganesha that hooks deep into you, spending time in there quickly bonds you to the space and the people who keep it going. We are just some of the droves who've been touched by this space. If you've been there, you know what we mean. If you haven't and want to, we'd be honored to show you.

The connections people make to Noot and The Love of Ganesha space reverberate worldwide. We wanted to create this page to see and catch up with our beloved friends all over and let them know what Noot, her team, and her community are facing.
