The Main Dish Established 2005

When I was a boy, I knew, and that was that. Now I know what you’re thinking, but that’s not it. I will tell you in just a bit!

Born in Minnesota and a dedicated military man, my father was a part of two wars. He and my mother raised their three boys to be self starters, thinkers, and most importantly, loyal.

Born in Scotland and determined for her children, Elizabeth Snedden made the most for her children, Lynn and Richard, by making a life for them in Ontario, Canada. Elizabeth only knew one thing, to give her love and passion for her children.

In the few words above you know the history of Ken and Lynn Tverberg, owners of The Main Dish in Meridianville, Alabama. It’s not important how, why, or even what we are doing here. What is important is our history and what made us become: self starters, thinkers, passionate, loving, loyal, and proud parents of two wonderfully beautiful girls.

Our mission is to pass on to our children, our community, and our neighbors what we have learned, and give back to our community.

As far as what I knew, and that was that. I knew in my life time I would meet the woman of my dreams, have the children of my dreams, and hopefully make a difference to our community, neighbors, family and friends.
