The Music Academy

The Music Academy in Lake City, FL is dedicated to teaching students of all ages. Students learn the joy of making music, a skill that will last a lifetime! Our skilled instructors teach a wide array of instruments, including piano, voice, violin, flute, oboe, guitar, cello, drums, and more! If you have taken lessons before or if you have always wanted to learn, let us know how we can get you on the fast track to making beautiful music.

The moment you walk in the door, you will be greeted with a warm welcome. The main goal of our staff is to make you as comfortable as possible to make the best learning environment we can. Parents of young students may wait in our comfortable waiting room, or can drop students off to run an errand.

Natalie Metzger began teaching private music lessons in 2005 and has a passion for her students. Teaching others to play is what brings her the most joy in life. Over the course of the years she has taught hundreds of musicians to play piano, violin, cello, and guitar. She loves teaching aspiring young singers as well. When Natalie is not teaching, she is performing for weddings or festivals in the area. Starting The Music Academy was a dream come true for Natalie. She wanted to find a way to get each interested person on an instrument without the use of a waiting list, as she dealt with in the past.
