The Nearsighted Narwhal

Our main focus is on indie lit and handmade materials that include books, zines, CDs, art, prints, and anything else handmade.

We believe that independent agents are what help a community stay strong and are proud to be able to help other creative folk promote their works.

Plans for the store include zine and book displays, a music display/listening station, a button-making station, an area to work on zines and comics, both free and pay workshops on self-publishing and art, open mic nights for both writers and acoustic musicians, hosting special events like 24 zine and comic making events, and a coffee and itty bitty eatery area to imbibe local creations.
