The Orchard is located at 7100 North 12th street in Phoenix, just between Northern and Glendale avenues. The land used to be an old citrus farm in the early 1900s that the new owners converted into an adaptive reuse property. A 30-foot water tower sits in the center of the two-acre property that is surrounded by more than 80 citrus trees. The space is divided into three major areas. Pomelo is a full-service restaurant that serves contemporary American food, includes a great courtyard with multiple patios and private dining options that are available for rent. Splurge is an ice cream and candy shop. There is also a marketplace, Luci’s at The Orchard, that serves breakfast, sandwiches, coffee and baked bread that people can either ordered inside or simply by going through the drive-thru window. There is also a splash pad and large lawn for picnics. The Orchard will embodies the five Cs that Arizona is known for: cotton, copper, citrus, cattle and climate.
