The Silver Lining Boutique

The Silver Lining was founded March of 2013 in historic downtown Sand Springs, OK when single mother April Sellers started her dream of opening her own business - a hair salon. Soon after, a friend invited her out for lunch and some local shopping. After visiting a couple boutiques that day, April's calling became apparent - she would soon add an affordable and trendy boutique for women to shop inside her salon. With two young children, and less than a $1,000 she placed her very first orders. April is the only employee, and, because she couldn’t afford childcare at the time, brought her children to work with her every day! She kept her prices low, with other single moms in mind, and her customer service high.

2016 brought many changes to The Silver Lining. April closed the small brick and mortar location and moved the store to a booth space inside The Vintage Stables on Main. In addition to adding the online boutique and social media presence, she sets up shop at local trade shows & markets. Over the last four years April has been able to make her dream come true selling clothing to women of all shapes and sizes at an affordable price. Sizes range from 0-24, giving all women the ability to look their best without breaking the bank. At the Silver Lining, customers can find lovely blouses, flowing skirts, dresses, leggings and accessories during all seasons of the year for under $40.
