The Social Table

The Social Table hosts hands-on, BYOB dinner party-style cooking classes.

The company was founded in NYC 6 years ago as a place where people could gather in a comfortable setting, learn some basic cooking skills and socialize. Now that we are in Chicago, our mission remains the same --bring people together through a common love of food drink. Our classes emphasize the fun and social aspects of creating and sharing a meal together. Our menus focus on seasonal and fresh foods.

In about 2 1/2 hours Rebecca will lead you through cooking a full meal, you'll chop, sauté, drink and mingle and then you get to sit back and enjoy without having to worry about washing a single dish.

Menus range from fresh pasta making to Asian cuisine and seasonal menus. Guests of all culinary skill levels are welcome. Get involved as much or as little as you feel comfortable with – it's all about coming together to enjoy the fun of making and sharing a meal.
