The Spotted Horse Ranch

Spotted Horse Ranch first opened it's barn doors in 2000, after almost 5 years of moving livestock, clearing land and clearing trails, building barns, campgrounds and our home.
Our dreams and goals of continuing a working ranch while providing recreation and education to the public have come to fruition!
Spotted Horse Ranch is named so because we raise our own Registered Appaloosa horses. Our horse are selectively bred for their endurance, sure-footedness on the trail, and their kind, patient
disposition towards people!
We offer Guided Trail Riding for 8-80+ year olds, (weight limit of 250lbs.), and our 25+ miles of trails caters to those of all skill levels.
A "Cowboy Cookout Ride" is a truly unique experience in the Midwest! We saddle up and ride out for 2 hours, then head to our 'Chuckwagon' in the woods, where Cookie has been working hard to prepare a delicious meal over an open fire! After a great meal and some tall tales, mount back up and ride for another 2 hours!
We also have Campgrounds, with electric and water for horses at each site. Each site is set up to haul your rig and bring your horses (stalls avail) but Tent campers are welcome too!
