The Studio Players was founded in 2011 by Scott Lilly & Kevin Moriarty to provide a highly creative environment in which professional artists and artists in training are encouraged and welcomed to broaden their craft through new and established works. We’re seeking to explore more alternative and contemporary plays along with more established pieces. Our debut show was on February 14, 2013 - Pageant Play.

We operate on an extremely tight budget with a very small group of volunteers that has hosted over 16 full-length productions in the past 3 years. These productions have brought in approximately 7,000 people into downtown Golden Gate area, that normally would not have been here, and our presence has generated financial growth for many other businesses in the area as well.
But we can’t continue to do this without your support. Box office revenues cover only a portion of our operating budget. Donations and Sponsors will allow us to bridge the gap between ticket sales and operating expenses.
