Austin's Colony to the present day.The role of the Texas Military Forces in both war and peace is highlighted. We cover the forces of the State of Texas from 1823-1903. In 1903 with the formation of the National Guard, we concentrate solely on the story of the Texas National Guard including peacetime and their wartime service for WWI, WWII, Korea, and the Global War on Terror.
