Store Policies

The Vintage Bloom specializes in the refinishing and upcycling of vintage furniture, antiques and other salvaged items. These items have blemishes and imperfections due to their age and use. We do our best to restore their beauty and purpose, but some of these blemishes add to the uniqueness of the piece.
Any imperfections and repairs made will be noted in the items description, if you need any more information on a piece PLEASE ASK.
CUSTOM ORDERS
1) The Vintage Bloom can offer pick-up and delivery of your item for a fee in addition to the custom order price. (Call for a quote, prices depend on distance)
2) All prices given for custom work are estimates. When you call or contact us for an estimate on custom work, please include pictures of the piece. It would also be extremely helpful if you had an idea of what you would like done to your piece. Pictures of previous work done by the Vintage Bloom, pictures off of Etsy, or Pinterest are extremely helpful.
3) Please note any repairs that will be needed, or if any hardware will need replacing.
4) Once we start on your piece, we will let you know if we find any additional issues that need addressing, this could be where we find additional costs. It will always be up to you if you want to proceed.
5) Once an estimate is given and options discussed, we will send you an electronic invoice. We require a 50% deposit to begin any custom work. This can be paid at the time of pick-up or drop off, we accept cash, credit or debit card.
6) The balance of the custom order must be paid before or when you pick up your piece or it is delivered.
7) At the time of pick-up or delivery I will give you an estimated day of completion. If you fail to make arrangements after multiple attempts to contact you, you will forfeit your deposit and your piece of property. Once I have contacted you, you have 30 days to pick up your piece or make arrangements for delivery or you forfeit your property and your deposit. The day of forfeiture will happen 30 days after the estimated completion date or the actual completion date…whichever is furthest. (I honestly don’t want your piece I just can’t store it.)

PURCHASES
1) All sales are final. Once a piece has been delivered or picked up it is your property. I encourage you to inspect the piece thoroughly prior to purchase. If you are purchasing a piece from afar (off of Etsy perhaps) please request a video inspection of the piece. I will showcase the piece on video and show you any items you might have particular interest in.
2) When you express interest in a piece, arrangements need to be made to come see the piece if you are local.
3) If you require delivery or shipment of your item, all costs associated with the purchase and delivery must be paid prior to the item being shipped or delivered.
4) The Vintage Bloom will help find the least expensive and best options available for shipment or delivery of your piece.
5) If an item is delivered damaged The Vintage Bloom will assist in filing a claim against any shippers or delivery services used, but once the item has left The Vintage Bloom, it is no longer our property and we will not reimburse you for the purchase.
6) Insurance is usually available through most shippers for an additional cost, I strongly encourage you to purchase insurance on your piece. As most of these pieces are antiques and one-of-a kind or rare pieces, replacement for a similar item is NOT usually not an option.
