Nachos and tacos and puffys, oh my! If you, your family and friends like to try new restaurants, then I know just the place for you. Cooking has always been a passion of Gary Armendarez, owner of The Whole Enchilada, a restaurant in downtown Bay City. Most of his skills came from his mother growing up. Before becoming a restaurant owner, Gary worked alongside talented chefs. He also shared his love for cooking by teaching troubled teens who were incarcerated in a juvenile home. In 2005, The Whole Enchilada made its debut. It all started in a food trailer like the ones you would see at the county fair. Traveling from city to city, Gary served his impeccable, authentic Mexican cuisine. He then settled the trailer in a semi-permanent location on the corner of Garfield St. and Lafayette Ave. in Bay City. After about two and a half years, Gary accepted an offer to expand. The Whole Enchilada is now located indoors at 510 3rd St. in Bay City. Improvements are being made every day to expand and grow to better serve you.
