THE ROCK SHOP is the premier performance-based music school located in the heart of Columbia, MD and Howard County. Students between the ages of 5 and 18 can take guitar, drum, bass, keyboard, and vocal lessons. As they progress, students have the opportunity to join the band program, where they join real bands, rehearse for 12 weeks, and perform at a professional music venue. We understand that every student learns in a unique and individual way. We teach to the way each student learns, whether it be visual, aural, verbal, physical, logical, or social. We are unlike any traditional music lesson facility; we are a place where students interact with each other and follow their own creativity in music.
