More about Town of Lee Ambulance Service

The Town of Lee Ambulance Service was founded in 1968 by members Robert Bossidy, Robert Boynton, Warren Briggs, Francis Dupont, Ken LeBier, Neil Merwin, William Noonan, and John Piacquadio.
In 1972, the first National Registry EMT course was taught in Berkshire County at BCC and two of those members became nationally registered EMT's.
Lee Ambulance was all volunteer until 1996 when we hired our first full-time EMT-I, Kevin Palmer.
In 2012 we became a paramedic level service providing the highest level of prehospital care to our patients.
We currently have 50 members, EMT's and Paramedics, both paid and volunteer.
Lee Ambulance is also an accredited training institution offering continuing education classes to EMT's and Paramedics as well as initial EMT training, CPR and ACLS classes.
