Town of Weldon

Weldon is a small historical town located on the mighty Roanoke River and is known as the "Rockfish Capital of the World." Every spring between mid-March and June, anglers come to Weldon to try their hand at catching Striped Bass, locally known as Rockfish, during the annual spawning season.
