Triple Threat Workshop for Kids

Triple Threat Workshop for Kids! is designed to help kids learn about theater through a series of workshops held throughout the year. Using ACTING as the base of our training students explore other art forms such as singing, dancing, movement, stage makeup, stage combat, improvisation, scene work, scene into song, etc. through these workshops. Students ages 7 to 15, learn more about themselves as actors (and actresses!), build upon their existing skills, and become more well rounded performers taught in a safe, positive, creative learning environment. In addition to these workshops private voice lessons, monologue coaching, and audition prep classes are available for $20 an hour under the direction of Caitlin Geisser.

Current Workshop: Summer Workshops!
CMG Studios Triple Threat Workshop for kids! presents our Summer Workshops, running every Saturday (Dec 14, 21, 28, Jan 4, 11). Five classes for $85. The morning session will be from 9 am to 12 and the afternoon session will be from 1pm to 4pm ages 7 to 14. High School session will be from 5pm-8pm. I will be accepting registration up until the first day of workshops.

Each workshop will focus on a particular element of theater, and upon registration you will receive a day by day breakdown of what we will be covering in class that day. Some workshop ideas include Scene into Song, Movement/the way the body works, stage makeup, stage combat, audition techniques, scene work, improv. etc.

Recommend a friend who is new to Triple Threat Workshop you and your friend will receive a $5 discount for your recommendation. Also talk to me about family rates! I realize this is a crazy time of year but drop the kids off to me and get some holiday shopping done!

Meet the director of Triple Threat Workshop for Kids! : Caitlin Geisser

Caitlin is a graduate of the Southern New Jersey Academy of the Performing Arts, attended Catawba College for theater in North Carolina, and is now getting her BFA in Musical Theater at Wright State University in Ohio. No stranger to the stage, Caitlin has been performing since the age of six working at South Jersey Theaters such as The Gabriel Project, The Broadway Theater of Pitman, Cumberland Players, Cumberland County College, and GCIT, to name a few. She has also studied acting and improv, as well as Musical Theater under the direction of The Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia, and piano from Debra Albano. She has been teaching private voice lessons for the last three years, is the music teacher and bell choir director at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Vineland, NJ, served as Thespian Troupe 5480 President, has competed at the International Thespian Society at the NJ State level, and gone on to compete at Nationals in Lincoln, Nebraska (1st place- Junior Audition Scholarship, 2nd place Dramatic scene, 2nd place Theater Marketing, 2nd place Set Design, 3rd place- Supporting Actress in a Mainstage, 3rd place- Mainstage “Steel Magnolias” Caitlin’s directorial credits include “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown” (SNJAPA), “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” (The Gabriel Project), “Almost, Maine” (The Gabriel Project with Cumberland Players- in honor of her mentor “Mister” Mark Melamed), and "Honk! Jr." (The Gabriel Project). She has assisted productions for the Vineland middle schools (Oliver, Bye Bye Birdie, Grease), as well as at the Summer Academy for Kids at Cumberland County College.
