The Children’s Defense Fund’s Leave No Child Left Behind mission is to ensure every child a Healthy Start, a Head Start, a Fair Start, a Safe Start and a Moral Start in life and successful passage to adulthood with the help of caring families and communities. Parent and /or guardian must attend mandatory weekly parent meetings. One of the key goals of the CDF Freedom Schools program is to involve parents in the life of the program as active participants in the learning experiences of their children.
