U.S. Coast Guard Station New Orleans

Welcome to the Official Facebook page for the U.S. Coast Gaurd Station New Orleans. Station New Orleans is located in Metairie, LA on the south shore of Lake Pontchartrain.

The station has an area of responsibility (AOR) which covers 7,500 square miles. This area extends from West Pearl River to Des Allemands and along the Mississippi River from South Baton Rouge to Pointe a la Hache. Other bodies of water included in the AOR are Lakes Borgne, St. Catherine, Ponchartrain, Maurepas, Salvador, Des Allemands, and the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet.
