Vacaville Heritage Council

We have on file several thousand photographs dating as far back as the 1850's. Negatives are archived for all the sample photographs and prints can be made for requesters in our own photo laboratory. We also have a collection of books related to local and California history.

We are in the process of scanning or photographing all records and photographs in our files so that they may be made available to the public.

We also work closely with all Solano County museums, historic organizations, and the Solano County Genealogy Society which occupies the upper floor of the Old Town Hall. If we do not have what you are looking for, it is possible that we may be able to refer you to someone who can provide the information.
