Vetter Custom Welding

Vetter Custom Welding's inception began in 1971 out of a garage in Westfield Indiana by newly turned entrepreneur Kenneth Vetter Sr. After returning home from Europe working as the foreman of an international group of welders, he decided to go into business for himself.
Earning eleven different certifications in the welding industry early in his career helped him build a reputation as a master craftsman in the welding trade. This led to a successful business and allowed him to grow, eventually opening his own shop in 1973.
His naturally ability was passed on to his two sons who at a very early age were taught to weld using his techniques. His youngest son, Mendall, worked with him in the shop until 1981 when Kenneth Sr. decided that since he no longer had any children living at home would move down to Georgetown Indiana to his previous home.
A second shop was built in 1982 and business continued until 2005 when Kenneth Sr. after 32 years of shop ownership decided to retire. Welding still continued as a hobby for him allowing him to continue to teach and work with his sons when needed.
In 2016 a decision was made to reopen the shop in a new location located in Cub Run Kentucky at the current home of the Vetter family. The shop under the same name would not be owned by Kenneth Sr. though. His son Mendall and grandson Jared are the entrepreneur's and welders, continuing his work using the same techniques that he passed down to them.
So here we are today operating the business with our commitment to core values, quality, and friendly service as we always have. We look forward to all the business and relationships we build in our new location as we continue to bring superior welding services to those in need.
