We open at 12pm daily, and THE CLOSING TIMES OF THE CANTEEN ARE TENTATIVE AND THEY DEPEND ON THE CROWD AND WHAT IS GOING ON FOR THE NIGHT. COULD BE AS EARLY AS 8PM, OR COULD BE AS LATE AS 1AM. IF THERE ARE 3 OR LESS PEOPLE FOR A LENGTH OF TIME, THAN WE'LL USUALLY CALL IT A NIGHT. ON SUNDAY NIGHT IT COULD BE AS EARLY AS 8PM, AND WEEKENDS NO EARLIER THAN 10PM, BUT AS I SAID, IF WE ARE BY OURSELVES WITHOUT A CUSTOMER FOR ATLEAST AN HOUR, THAN IT JUST ISN'T WORTH IT TO STAY OPEN. JUST GIVE US A CALL AND SEE HOW LATE WE'LL BE STAYING OPEN, Tell us you're on your way, etc.

***We ARE a smoking bar and private club with handicap accessible ramp in the back right side of the building.
PLEASE REMEMBER: The back part of the room is completely NON smoking so that if there are people that get bothered by the smoke, but still want to come out, they can be far away from it. We have a very well ventilated building as well.

***We are more than willing to welcome well behaved guests who would like to come in and enjoy themselves, actually we encourage it! There are usually always people willing to sign you in, but please remember that it is a privledge to come in, it is not a right, so please be respectful to members, be on your best behavior, and remember where you are. If there is a room full of older Veterans enjoying a cocktail, and wanting to relax and a guest puts on some heavy metal or loud rap music, we will be skipping the song, because it is a canteen for Veterans FIRST and ALWAYS and if they do not feel comfortable at any point than whatever it is, has got to change, so always be aware of the crowd and be respectful with your music choices! Yes, we all have the right to say "whoever puts in money can pick what they want" but the exception is as i stated above, so as a guest, please keep that in mind! Common sense will tell ya that :-) We will always treat you with respect, but we always ask the same in return, or you wil be asked to leave. We are a zero tolerance post. We DO NOT and WILL NOT put up with ANY disrespect towards the bartender on duty. This means:
*Cussing at, yelling at and over all verbal disrespect
*Refusing to follow the rules after you were asked to
*Causing or aggravating a fight situation, etc.
If something goes on, it will be written up in our book, brought up at a meeting, and the result will follow as to how long you will be "Barred" from the Post. Sometimes, to come back in youll need to present youself in front of our house committee, and other times you'll just have to stay out for the time alotted and then you'll be ok to return.

WE ARE A POST THAT TAKES PRIDE IN BEING OPEN PRETTY MUCH EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR! OUR EVERYDAY OPEN TIME IS AT NOON TIME! UNLESS THERE IS A SPECIAL EVENT WHICH GIVES US REASON TO OPEN EARLIER :-)

We have entertainment, games, raffles, and different things going on all the time.

SUNDAYS: Left Hand Turn (Nascar Pool), and Corn Hole Matches (2pm)!!
TUESDAYS: King of Diamonds card game 7:30pm
FRIDAYS: Queen of Spades Progressive card Game 7pm-- sometimes entertainment as well
SATURDAYS: Meat Raffles every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month at 2pm, usually always entertainment at 8pm

****DURING ANY ENTERTAINMENT NIGHTS, WHEN THE BAND OR DJ STARTS (usually 8pm) EVERY DRINK GOES UP FIFTY CENTS TO COVER THE COST OF BAND
