Private Sector – Business Contributions
Floyd County does not have large commercial lodging businesses. While this gives us a quaint, small-town feel that contributes greatly to our visitor appeal, it also means that we do not have substantial transient lodging taxes. Floyd County’s tourism initiative has required a blend of both public and private monies to support a county-wide effort – particularly at initial phases.
