All of these cats and kittens are in Cabarrus County Animal Control Shelter, The majority will need rescue pull in this very small shelter. The cats have a short pull time about 5 -7 days is average (sometimes a little more depending on intake volume) to find rescue. This page was developed by volunteers to help get the cats in the Cabarrus Animal Control Shelter to 501c3 rescue or be adopted and to help raise funds to get the rescue cats the necessary vetting they need. The Cabarrus County Shelter is under new county management and does have a small area for cat adoption at the shelter. You can visit the shelter daily Monday-Friday between 1-4 If you are interested in adopting a cat or dog, or pulling a cat under 501-C3 rescue. If you would like to donate vetting pledge money please message under the cats photo you would like to help sponsor. If there is a cat you are interested in adopting please email Jana Loos at JRLoos@cabarruscounty.us For information on helping feral cats contact Marleen Jenkins at jenkins.marleen@gmail.com,
