I am dedicated to helping couples have fabulous and affordable weddings!

As much as I love pretty, pretty parties and weddings, I’m also a self-proclaimed penny pincher and always on the lookout for ways to cut costs, get creative and not waste any money. It disappoints me to see couples stressed out, overwhelmed and going into debt for their one special day, so I’ve taken it as my personal mission to help as many couples as I possibly can to have phenomenal weddings without breaking the bank while staying sane and having fun in the process. As much as I love weddings, the current expectations of the wedding world are out of control!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Shanda Escoto and I’ve been a wedding planner in San Diego for over a decade. Throughout that experience I discovered that my favorite couples were the ones who wanted to roll up their sleeves and put some effort into getting the absolute most out of their wedding budget.

During that time I also started to get increasingly discouraged with the commercial wedding industry which pressured brides into feeling that their wedding day wouldn’t be special if they spent less than the national average of around $30,000 on their wedding.

That is when the “Wedding Planning Club” was born. The Wedding Planning Club is a group of smart, savvy Brides (and a few wise Grooms) who are dedicated to planning an amazing, stress free and affordable wedding. I work closely with these couples throughout their planning process to help them each step of the way.

The “Club” is full of intelligent and realistic information and video how-to tutorials on wedding planning as well as every tool you’ll need along the way. It is a network of Brides and Grooms who have committed to being supportive and helpful to one another and it is the ultimate resource for planning a wedding.
