The Widener Journal of Law, Economics and Race (“WJLER”) is Widener’s newest law journal and the first to be published jointly by both the Delaware and Harrisburg campuses. The journal is designed to provide a forum for in-depth analysis and academic discourse on issues involving the intersection of the law, race, and economics.
To achieve this goal, the journal allows scholars, practitioners, and students an opportunity to both explore, and critically analyze issues regarding the intersection of race and economics. Through this discussion, the journal hopes to create a resource from which policy makers can develop new ideas that can better address legal and economic problems that impact our society.
The content published by the journal comes from student-authored works, distinguished Widener graduates, as well as law school faculty, judges, and attorneys. The journal has student staff members on Widener Commonwealth’s law school campus, as well as a student editorial board, and faculty advisory board.
