The Williamson County Health Council was formed as a partnership between community leaders and a variety of community organizations with a vested interest in the health and well being of the Williamson County community. Meeting monthly at Williamson Medical Center, the health council works to plan community events centered around positive health promotion.
The Council is a not-for-profit, voluntary membership community service organization.
The focus is promoting the prevention of premature death, diability and illness by developing a Williamson County Community Health Plan for recommendation to the Department of Health in Williamson County.
