Who is in the network?
Women from all ages, professions, and skill sets in the Helena community are welcome. WLN is open to all women, and the strength of the network is dependent upon the diversity of each woman that joins.

How does the network connect?
WLN holds monthly luncheons on the third Tuesday of each month at the Montana Club on the 6th floor. Meetings start at 12 pm and end promptly at 1 pm. Each luncheon features a variety of topics from career advancement, leadership, and local professional topics in the Helena community. WLN takes pride in providing the best guest speakers to inspire and inform members.

We have approximately six evening no-host socials each year to encourage and help members to increase their network. These are great opportunities to meet and connect with past, current, and new members. More details on our Events calendar or Facebook page.

What should I expect at luncheons?
When attending a luncheon, the women in attendance stand and briefly introduce themselves. After introductions, WLN hosts a business spotlight which is designed to allow the network to get to know members and guests and to find out more about their business in three to five minutes. They also have the opportunity to leave informational materials at each table and have the benefit of their logo and business information in our newsletter, Facebook and website.

Is there functional communication?
WLN sends out monthly invitations for the luncheon, invitations to all of the socials and a monthly newsletter with guest speaker specifics, what is happening with WLN and a Member Roster. The WLN Facebook page is active and updates frequently.

WLN is governed by a volunteer member board that plans each luncheon and the annual professional women’s conference held in November. Every year, WLN encourages new members with fresh ideas and insights to join the board. The annual board election is held every December. A Nominating committee meets annually to visit in November with those who are interested in participating and being on the Board.

What is included in membership?
Annual dues for Women’s Leadership are $100.00/year payable by February 15th or $50.00 after July 1st. After paying membership, each new member receives a welcome letter, monthly newsletter and communications of events. Members receive a reduced price on the annual golf outing, leadership conference and WLN hosts a no charge holiday luncheon for all members every December.
We strongly encourage prepaying for your luncheons to assist in reducing congestion during check in. Cost is $12.00 in advanced and $15.00 at the door. Cash, credit card and check are acceptable payment forms. Each member is always encouraged to bring a friend.
