Wonko's Toys and Games

Established in 2005

Opened by Chad Seger in November of 2005, the business changed hands to Eric and Denise Dow in July 2009. At the time of the change of ownership, Wonko's was primarily a collectible toy store, specializing in hard to find action figures and statues. The Dow's reorganized the store to allow for more gaming and shifted the focus to an even mix of Toys and Games, and started a nightly focus on bringing local gamers into the store to play and created a social element to the store.

In November of 2010, Wonko's moved across the street and into a larger facility to make room for bigger tournaments and a greater selection of both Toys and Games.

In September of 2012 Wonko's was featured on the Travel Channel's show Toy Hunters.

Wonko's has maintained a family friendly atmosphere that focus's on teaching the games they sell and increasing the hobby of collecting Star Wars, Star Trek and other toys.
