Mr. Jason Troyan

Owner / Chief Instructor

Mr. Troyan, born and raised in Florida, has always had a passion for martial arts. When he began his Martial Arts training, little did he know this would become his way of life and chosen career.

June, 2002 - Started training in the art of Songahm Taekwondo.

November 15, 2004 - Mr. Troyan started his teaching career under the direction of Mr.
Parrish, 5th degree black belt.

December, 2004 - Mr. Troyan received his 1st degree black belt.

February, 2008 - Tested and received the rank of 2nd degree black belt, continuing
his training as and instructor, mentor, and business manager.

March, 2009 - Mr. Troyan tested and received Level 1 Instructor Certification
with the American Taekwondo Association (ATA).

November, 2009 - Tested and received Level 2 Instructor Certification with the ATA.

February, 2010 - With his perseverance and determination, he achieved the rank of
3rd degree black belt.

April, 2010 - Tested and received Level 3 Instructor Certification making him
a Black Color, Certified Instructor in Songahm Taekwondo.

June, 2011 - Awarded Florida State Champion for Traditional Weapons, ranked 7th in the world for Xtreme Weapons.

June, 2012 - Awarded Florida State Champion for Traditional Forms, Traditional Weapons, Creative Weapons, and Xtreme Weapons
Competed in the 2012 World Championships Top Ten, and ranked 4th in the world for Xtreme Weapons.

September, 2012 - Continuing training with Senior Grand Master Edward Sell of the United States Chung Do Kwan Association

March, 2013 - Certified Chief Instructor and 3rd DAN with the US Chung Do Kwan Association

July, 2013 - National Champion for Traditional Forms, USCDKA

Training Seminars and qualifications: Combat Bahng Mahng Ee, Long Range Bo Staff, Train the Trainer, Agent G Bully Prevention. February of 2012 Mr. Troyan received an outstanding Judges award at a regional tournament.

Mr. Troyan also holds a brown belt in Combat Hapkido, and has 3 years of training in Krav Maga.

He also does volunteer work as a youth leader at his church; he has been assisting and teaching the youth since 2000.
