Yoga Club 4 Kids will teach students to develop a sense of calm, balance and awareness of their body as they learn many different yoga poses and meditation-breathing techniques.
Studies have shown that practicing mediation and yoga improve attentiveness, self control, respect to others and empathy, all while reducing stress, hyperactive behavior, ADHD symptoms, depression and self awareness. In addition, grades are shown to improve for student who participate in mindfulness programs.
Giving kids tools to help them fend off negative thoughts and behaviors, build self-confidence, focus, and treat others and themselves with respect and appreciation is a gift they will have for the rest of their lives.
