Company History

Yummy’s BBQ & Sushi by RC Group, LC started in January 2012 as a small restaurant in front of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. With high fixed costs from rent and utilities, Casey and Rachel Choi decided to change the way they served their Japanese Sushi and Korean BBQ to the public. Yummy’s started as a vendor for local supermarkets in Provo serving and making Sushi customized for each individual customer. A customer would come up and choose the type of Sushi they would like, and would request different flavors, spice, and even different fillings. The sushi was priced similarly to other vendors that supply Sushi through wholesale, but instead Yummy’s made all their Sushi fresh at the point of sale. With the popularity of their fresh Sushi and affordable prices, Yummy’s quickly began to expand throughout the state of Utah into other supermarkets, hospitals and large corporations. Yummy’s has also expanded to offering Korean BBQ plates as well during the summer months which has also proven to be a success. Today, Yummy’s services over 25 locations across Arizona, Colorado, Nevada and Utah.
